Welcome to the XL-7 Groove Sharing Playground

We've designed this section to help give you, the
user, a chance to share and get your hands on new XL-7
Patterns.
Click on a Pattern Name below to download the
zip file on to your computer. Unzip the file using a utility,
such as ZipIt for Mac or WinZip for
Windows. Then send the MIDI file over to your XL-7 via E-MU's
E-Loader software program. If you have not had a chance to use
E-Loader yet, it comes standard with your XL-7 and is located
on the CD-ROM, "XL-7/MP-7 Command Stations." It's
cross-platform and very easy to use.
Each Pattern is a
standard MIDI file and uses E-MU factory Presets. If you like,
you can also load them into your software sequencer,
triggering your XL-7 as a sound module.
We got the ball
rolling with the creation of the first Five. If you would like
to contribute Patterns to our Groove Sharing Archive, please
send them as E-Loader files or Standard MIDI Files (Type 1),
to grooveshare@emu.com.
Please only use factory presets in your patterns. You can also
create patterns using factory presets from other Proteus ROMS
as well. For example, the Planet Earth ROM combined with an
XL-7 should sound awesome. Terms
